ISSUES: MANDATORY ARBITRATION NOT!
Wednesday, March 24th, 2010A letter to the editor by AMR agent Jeff Brundage demanding binding arbitration for pilot pay
at American Airlines is a desperate attempt to stop the inevitable:
RESTORATION OF PAY TAKEN FROM AA PILOTS TO RESTORE AMR PROFITABILITY SEVEN (7) YEARS AGO.
Pilots at American Airlines are ready to do what it takes to “get our money back.”
A phrase often heard that means simply, our routes, our work rules, our pay. Out sourcing at AMR/AA (called “scope” by the APA) has created intense bitterness to the extent 3 out 4 pilots do not even vote in union elections.
Many of these pilots have found other occupations and wealth building plans knowing they could no longer rely on AMR/AA and their collective bargaining agent, APA for financial security and an aviation career.
The time has come to put an end to this downward spiral. A true consensus builder is needed.
Who has shown the “get it done” successes in equally bitter disputes in the past?
Only one APA Presidential candidate: PAUL FRANCIS RENNEISEN.
The longest name on the ballot. Vote.
See Pay Rates and Bio on this blog for more information.
Thank you for your interest in restoring our careers.
